In other words, as far as gameplay is concerned, nothing has changed. The murky water is slowly dissipating and Lulu’s voice has returned. Sources include Zeldapedia, Zelda.gamepedia, and Hyrule Hystoria. With the Great Bay Temple complete, the waters of Great Bay are now returning to a normal temperature, so fish will no longer boil to death and can safely migrate back. Thanks for reading! Remember to like and to leave your comments down below, and if you liked this theory remember to follow me for more! When they got to the top, they probably worried that the Ikana forces would quickly follow, so they opened the doors looking for place to regroup but instead were met with a terrible curse, turning everyone in the canyon into a former shell of themselves. Knowing this, the Garo probably went climbed up the entrance to the temple using their superior agility and speed. So, that only leaves one option, Stone Tower temple. So, where in the canyon can the Garo go where it is devoid of intelligent life? Well there’s the well, but they’d be easily discovered there. Except, the Garo can’t leave the canyon because the only entrance and exit is guarded by a squad of Ikana soldiers, who are probably on high alert because their kingdom is under attack. So what would be the logical thing to do for a group of soldiers who can’t fight in direct combat, it would obviously be to retreat. Also, I as have previously stated, they were caught in the act one day and that would have led to some serious fighting. But while the Garo may be efficient in stealth, if they are anything like actual ninja, they probably suck at direct combat. They use stealth tactics and prefer to catch targets off guard. Now, as I have previously stated, the Garo are essentially ninja. So now that we have figured out our culprit, we just have to figure out why and how the Garo opened the doors to Stone Tower. But while most Garo don’t wear masks, there is one that immediately jumps to mind. Now many people would jump to the conclusion that it’s Skull kid, but that doesn’t match up with the timeframe the NPC’s give us. He states that a masked figure opened the doors of Stone Tower and cursed Ikana canyon. According to Dampe, his father was able to give him the origin story of Captain Keeta’s remains, so either when Link fell, he was knocked out for 2 generations, which is highly improbable, or something else caused the curse long before Skull kid showed up.īut where do we start? Well the King of Ikana, Igos Du Ikana, actually gives us a hint about who it might be. But Ikana is different, the dialogue the characters give you in Ikana canyon make it seem like the place has been dead for years. Skull kid usually causes the problem in an area right before you arrive. “How did you come to this conclusion?” Is probably what you are thinking right about now and I get it. I believe it was the Garo who opened the doors of Stone tower temple and unleashed the curse upon Ikana canyon. But today, I’ve decided to bring my theory to the table. One fateful day, while on reconnaissance mission in Ikana canyon, the Garo were caught and a bloody conflict ensued.Īfter that however the details become a little a foggy and no one has a definitive answer as to what exactly happened. They conceal their blades and stay in the shadows. The Garo are basically the Sheikah of Termina, they’re essentially ninjas.
